Packaging Solutions

This section groups ICON Packtech machines by the packaging process they perform, so you can select equipment based on the result you need rather than the machine type.

Preservation processes include vacuum packaging, modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), gas flushing and skin packaging, all used to extend shelf life without additional preservatives. Sealing processes cover regular sealing, premium sealing, centre seal, side seal, three-side-seal pouches, D-cut, zipper pouches and stand-up pouches.

Handling and preparation processes include filling, weighing, volumetric weighing, counting, pick and place, separating, cleaning, washing, drying, polishing and pressing. Finishing processes cover shrink wrapping, stretch wrapping and strapping for cartons and cases ready for dispatch.
